DECOMMISSIONING

For safety reasons, every ambulance in Canada has a prescribed life-of-service. Typically, Paramedic Services decommission ambulances (or remove from service) every five to seven years of use or after 250,000 kilometers. Our EMS fleet experts can decommission your ambulances while giving them a new lease on life as a vehicle operating for a not-for-profit, a community group or for other medical providers around the world such as in the Caribbean where they have different life-of-service requirements.
